Industrial Piping Systems
The concept of industrial piping systems is prominent as a vital series of equipment used in various central systems, especially in hydroelectric power plants and dam structures, for transporting liquids and gases or products.
Processes of Industrial Piping Systems
As SETA ÇELİK, we provide long-term partnership services to our valued customers in the process of industrial piping systems, including: preparation of industrial piping system projects and calculations, material supply, transportation of materials to our factory, quality control of incoming materials, preparations from raw materials to intermediate products, welding and machining processes after roofing, destructive and non-destructive material and welding inspections, painting of workshop and worksite areas, transportation and protection of materials to the worksite, installation, delivery in operational condition, and preparation of operation and maintenance manuals and spare parts.
The detailed manufacturing projects we prepare for industrial piping systems include the following information:
- Dimensions of each equipment and its parts, and the general layout plan,
- Detailed drawings of bolts, holes, tolerances, dimensions, part numbers, and other necessary information,
- A list of parts indicating the weight of each piece in detailed projects,
- Welding details for all parts in manufacturing details,
- Material types and surface treatment marks,
- Schematic wiring diagrams for all electrical equipment,
- Schematic piping diagrams for all relevant lubrication circuits,
- Schematic diagrams showing all circuit elements when using hydraulic drive units.
Material Selection for Industrial Piping Systems
Since industrial piping systems are used to transport different liquids and gases, the material selection is based on the following information:
- Type of fluid or gas,
- Inlet and outlet pressure of the system,
- Flow rate,
- Flow temperature.
Depending on pressure and erosion values, materials can be carbon steel or stainless steel in hydroelectric power plants and dam structures, or plastic materials such as CTP, HDPE, or PTFE, or glass-reinforced materials in thermal power plants or food processing facilities.
Accessories for Industrial Piping Systems
Many accessories are found in industrial piping systems used in hydroelectric power plants and dam structures. For carbon or stainless steel piping systems, connections are generally made by welding two pipes together, while for plastic materials such as CTP, HDPE, or PTFE, or glass-reinforced pipes, appropriate clamps, sleeves (flexible steel sleeves, mechanical steel sleeves), manual fittings, and gaskets (typically elastomer or nitrile O-rings) are used to ensure leak-proofing and deliver functional and operational piping systems to the end-user.
Workmanship for Industrial Piping Systems
The entire work will be carried out with professional craftsmanship using the latest techniques in high-quality equipment manufacturing, by experienced and skilled craftsmen in their fields.
